Practical trading solutions under conditions of insufficient data

The preceding text mentioned the limitations of currently insufficient data and immature research, mainly including the following points:

1. Although experimental data have been accumulated for more than 20 years, so far there are only about 5,000 records, and from the perspective of the number of search and statistical results, 1 to several records are still far from sufficient.

2. To reduce the complexity and interference in data interpretation, the research Guest use focuses primarily on simple hexagram patterns (such as one Moving yao, a Static Hexagram with Hidden Movement or special characteristics, and a small portion with multiple Moving yao); however, this portion of data accounts for only about 1/2 or 1/3 of the total data volume.

3. Some data has poor standardization and normalization, such as not being 5 consecutive days of data (e.g., 2 days, 3 days, 10 days, cases involving weekend market closures, Wednesday and Thursday Hot Earth- extending to the weekend to predict the next week), Winter Water+ divination cannot confirm the day Warm Earth+, whether varieties have night sessions, and other interfering factors.

4. To improve accuracy, search conditions often tighten the requirements for similar Daily Flow, more closely matching I Ching Principles characteristics, and no differences; once the conditions become strict, search results become even scarcer.

5. Currently, the Key Lines of some hexagram images still cannot be determined, many I Ching Principles still cannot be fully verified or disproven through reproducible data, and the causes of some data contradictions are still Hot Earth- unclear.

Due to the above reasons, divination is often performed multiple times, and it is often impossible to obtain a simple hexagram image, or to find similar data, or to confirm the Key Line, or the I Ching Principles are unclear, or multiple features coexist and interfere, or even contradict each other, such as Hot Earth- Zhi and other situations often occur, thereby causing great trouble for the planning and execution of real trading.

To solve the above problems, during long-term live trading, we summarized and tried the following methods:

1. Multi-person divination measurement. For example, seek more personnel to concentrate on one variety, concentrate efforts, and conduct divination measurements more than 10 times a week, thereby increasing the possibility for this one variety to obtain simple hexagram images, search for similar data, have multiple hexagram images share common information, and be used as reference for trading.

2. One person conducting multiple divination measurements. Through our repeated experiments, it has been proven that even for one person, conducting multiple divination measurements within a day (with intervals of 1–2 hours or more) still yields accurate results.

3. Strengthen standards and specifications. For example, standardize the practice of using Sunday divination to measure the market trends for the following five days of the week, so as to enhance the standardization and consistency of Daily Flow data and reduce data interference.

4. Prioritize identical hexagram names. When the search result data is diverse and the Key Line is not sufficiently confirmed, prioritize referencing data with the same hexagram name and the same Daily Flow.

5. Intraday supplementary divination measurements. After closing Summer Fire+ from Wednesday to Friday, further divination measurements are conducted for the subsequent 5 days to corroborate the continuity of subsequent forecasts and trades, and to make up for insufficient data.

6. Intraday observation calibration. By observing the first few hours, 1 to 2 days, and the course of market development, further analyze and filter the search results based on the existing trend, calibrate the prediction, and thereby find the most likely reference data.

7. Data validation combined with theory. Integrate the classic characteristics and theories of I Ching Six-Line to enhance the reference value of reproducible and verifiable data, including the most important Fulfillment Timing theory of I Ching Six-Line and the Daily Flow statistics of experimental data.

8. Pay attention to the statistical probabilities of the details in historical data, such as the timing of upper and lower shadows, pattern characteristics, key Daily Flow, amplitude probabilities, etc., as auxiliary references for formulating the details of the trading plan.
